Environmental

What we do in the built environment has an effect on the natural environment, and there is a need to mitigate these effects. The natural environment encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally on Earth and is an environment that encompasses the interaction of all living species. The term built environment refers to the human-made surroundings that provide the setting for human activity, ranging in scale from buildings and parks or green space to neighborhoods and cities that can often include their supporting infrastructure, such as water supply, or energy networks.
