PDM’s role was to oversee the implementation of NDRRA/DRFA Flood and Cyclone Damage Remediation Works as the council’s program management consultant.

PDM supplied personnel to fulfill various roles such as Project Manager, Contract Administrator, Field Supervisor, Inspector, OH&S and Public Relations Managers, and General Administration Responsibilities.

The personnel from PDM played a crucial role in formulating delivery contracts that adhere to the NDRRA/DRFA Guidelines. PDM handled all aspects of tendering, contract selection, recommendations, and administration on behalf of WRC. Contractors were engaged by WRC under the supervision of PDM as the Principal.

PDM’s personnel were instrumental in preparing asset assessment reports for both building and civil assets. These reports outlined the extent of damage and necessary repairs, which were then submitted to the insurance company for approval.

Inspectors from PDM are tasked with ensuring that contractors fulfill their contractual obligations and deliver value for money. They also conduct quality surveillance to verify compliance with contract specifications and ensure accurate payment for completed works.
